Size Chart for Laddu Gopal Ji and Mata Rani
Poshak sizing works differently from human clothing. It is based on the height of your idol in inches, not on chest or waist measurements. Get the height right and the fit will be right.
How to measure your idol
- Stand the idol on a flat surface.
- Measure from the base to the top of the head, in inches. Do not include the mukut or any crown.
- Find the closest idol height in the table below — that row is your size.

For example, a 4 inch Laddu Gopal Ji takes size 4 No, and a 2.8 inch Laddu Gopal Ji takes size 2 No. The dress diameter is measured in a straight line across the dress, through the centre. For Mata Rani, use the Mata Rani chart below — her sizes are measured differently.

If you are between two sizes
Go one size up. A slightly loose poshak drapes well and can be tied to fit. A tight one will not go on the idol at all.
