Size Chart
Size Chart for Laddu Gopal Ji, Mata Rani, Radha Krishna and Khatu Shyam Ji
Poshak sizing works differently from human clothing. It is based on the height of your idol in inches, not on chest or waist measurements. Get the height right and the fit will be right.
How to measure your idol
- Stand the idol on a flat surface.
- Measure from the base to the top of the head, in inches. Do not include the mukut or any crown.
- Find the closest idol height in the table below — that row is your size.
Laddu Gopal Ji sizes
| Dress size | Idol height | Dress diameter |
|---|---|---|
| 0 No | 1.75 inch | 4 inch |
| 1 No | 2.4 inch | 5 inch |
| 2 No | 2.8 inch | 6 inch |
| 4 No | 4 inch | 8 inch |
| 5 No | 5 inch | 10 inch |
| 6 No | 6 inch | 12 inch |
| 7 No | 7 inch | 14 inch |
There is no 3 No. Poshak is not made in that size. For a 3.5 inch Laddu Gopal Ji, take 4 No.
For example, a 4 inch Laddu Gopal Ji takes size 4 No, and a 2.8 inch Laddu Gopal Ji takes size 2 No. The dress diameter is measured in a straight line across the dress, through the centre. For Mata Rani, use the Mata Rani chart below — her sizes are measured differently.
Radha Krishna and Khatu Shyam Ji sizes
These two are the simplest of all: the size is your idol's own height in inches. A 5 inch idol takes size 5.
| Dress size | Idol height |
|---|---|
| 2 inch | 2 inch |
| 3 inch | 3 inch |
| 4 inch | 4 inch |
| 5 inch | 5 inch |
| 6 inch | 6 inch |
| 7 inch | 7 inch |
| 9 inch | 9 inch |
| 12 inch | 12 inch |
| 15 inch | 15 inch |
Khatu Shyam Ji dresses are made in 3, 4, 5 and 6 inch only. Radha Krishna sets come in every size in the table above.
Do not use the Mata Rani chart for these. Mata Rani sizes mean something else — her 4 inch is for a 7 to 8 inch idol, not a 4 inch one.

If you are between two sizes
Go one size up. A slightly loose poshak drapes well and can be tied to fit. A tight one will not go on the idol at all.
